87. Young Musicians Platform

The core of this Festival is the time, attention and skill devoted to the masterclasses. This year we saw seven young ensembles – five string quartets, a Baroque quartet and a piano trio – receive masterclasses from both specialist tutors as well as Festival performers. Four of the ensembles are repeating works they played earlier in the Festival, however the Italian OCMA Quartet, here on an exchange with the Mantova Chamber Music Festival, will perform Dvorak’s evergreen American Quartet.
