The Aradia quartet have been playing together since 2020, and are delighted to be returning to West Cork Chamber music festival for the second year in a row. They were the 2022 fellowship quartet at Concorda Chamber Music Course.

Kate studies with Katherine Hunka at MTU CSM. As a multiple first prize-winner at Feis Maitiú and Cork School of Music competitions, including the CSM junior concerto competition, Kate has performed with the Quay quartet, the National Youth Orchestra of Ireland and the Royal Concertgebouworkest Young, and leads the CSM symphony orchestra.

Eve is currently studying at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama in London. She is reserve member of the European Youth Orchestra 2023 and recently achieved highly commended in the St. James’ Prize at the Guildhall. She is a prizewinner of numerous Feis Ceoil competitions, including the 2022 Senior viola cup. Eve has played in orchestras including the National Youth orchestra of Ireland and the Royal Concertgebouworkest Young.

Aoibhin is currently studying at The Royal Conservatory of The Hague with Jan Ype Nota and is a past pupil of Christopher Marwood. She was the youngest ever recipient of the Trench award in 2021 and was one of six finalists in the NCH young musicians of 2019. Throughout the years she has been a multiple time feis prizewinner and has been a member of the Royal Concertgebouworkest Young and the National Youth Orchestra of Ireland.

Twenty-year old Anna Jansson is a violin student of Katherine Hunka, and has recently completed her second year as a Bmus student at MTU Cork School of Music. A former member of the National Youth Orchestra of Ireland, she will be co-leading the Ulster Youth Orchestra later this summer. She will be spending her 3rd year of her degree studying on an Erasmus in Graz, Austria, with violinist Maighréad McCrann.
