Dave Lordan is widely acknowledged as one of Ireland’s leading contemporary poets, essayists and literary thinkers. He is a renowned advocate for community and youth creativity and well-being, working alongside numerous partners in the arts, education, and community sectors on a wide variety of multimedia creativity projects. Dave combines his deep knowledge & appreciation of the traditions and canons of world literature with his professional insight into and command of the new possibilities of 21st century mediums to provide a world class educational experience for creative young people. This is his twelfth year leading our teen creativity programme at WCLF and many of his previous students are now making names for themselves in various literary forms.

Dave’s essay Revelations appears in The 32: An Anthology of Irish Working-Class Voices which is published in July 2021.
