Sonata Settima is one of four trio sonatas in the collection that asks for concertante roles from all the instruments, with solos on not just the violins but also the bowed bass. The Sonata has seven well defined sections, although Leonarda does not name the individual movements, only printing largo at the beginning of the second section, over the first solo passage for violin.
