Anton Hur joins us to speak about translated literature from Korea and the life of a literary translator. He will also introduce our audiences to speculative fiction from Korea. He will be discussing three books - his own novel Toward Eternity and his translations of If We Cannot Go At The Speed of Light by Kim Choyeop and The Bird That Drinks Tears (Book #1 of the Heart of the Nhaga series) by Lee Young-do.

The English-language editions of Toward Eternity and The Bird That Drinks Tears will be published by Harper Collins in July. If We Cannot Go At The Speed of Light will be published by MacLehose Press in May.

Anton will be in conversation with Elizabeth Goldrick.
