Cork County Library Service marks its 100th anniversary in 2026, and over the past one hundred years has become an integral part of towns and communities with twenty-five branch libraries and four mobile libraries across the county. The Cork County Library Service, and Bantry Library in particular, have been cherised partners of West Cork Literary Festival since our first festival.
Join us for a discussion with members of Writers Block, the new panel of Cork County Council writers-in-residence, about the importance of libraries and what their local library has meant to them. This will also be an opportunity to discover all that libraries have to offer.
