Horrible Histories and Harmonies with Ensemble Dagda Romps Through the 16-18th Centuries Through Music and Dance

Horrible Histories and Harmonies with Ensemble Dagda romps through the 16-18th centuries through music and dance, touching on the stickier sides of things. An interactive experience for all ages, students will hear music from hundreds of years ago, learn a Dublin Castle dance as well as try their hand at conducting an eighteenth-century orchestra!

There are 6 workshops organised under Tuning Up, part of Cork County Council’s annual Arts in Schools Programme. Tuning Up is managed by West Cork Music and funded by Cork County Council and the Arts Council of Ireland.  This year, through Cork County Council’s generous support, we can offer these particular online workshops to  schools free of charge as part of the County Council’s “Being Creative in COVID 19” programme.
