Ukrainian-born violinist Diana Tishchenko is widely recognized for her radiant tone, expressive depth, and fearless curiosity that bridges musical eras. Her artistry spans from the refined clarity of Baroque interpretation to bold contemporary creations – many composers have written new works especially for her.
After winning the Grand Prix at the Long-Thibaud-Crespin International Competition in Paris, Diana quickly became one of the most sought-after violinists of her generation. As an ECHO Rising Star, she performed in major European halls such as the Elbphilharmonie Hamburg, Philharmonie de Paris, and Vienna Konzerthaus, captivating audiences with her distinctive voice and emotional sincerity.
At just 20, Diana became the youngest concertmaster in the history of the Gustav Mahler Youth Orchestra, performing under Sir Colin Davis, Franz Welser-Möst, and Antonio Pappano. As a soloist, she has collaborated with renowned conductors including Iván Fischer, Lahav Shani, and Andrew Litton, appearing with leading ensembles such as the Deutsches Symphonie-Orchester Berlin, Orchestre Philharmonique de Strasbourg, and the Budapest Festival Orchestra.
A graduate of the Hanns Eisler Hochschule für Musik Berlin, where she studied with Ulf Wallin, Diana continues to shape her artistic path through innovative collaborations and socially engaged projects.
