Alexandra Tyndale

Alexandra Tyndale is based in West Cork. She began writing in 2019 and has had three stories included in the From the Well anthology , one of which was recorded for a podcast released in association with West Cork Literary Festival’s online programme. Her story ‘Mustard and Custard’ was published in the Irish Independent’s New Irish Writing section in November 2020. She won Creative Bandon’s short story competition in 2021 and was highly commended in Hammond House’s International short story competition in 2022. In 2025 she was awarded a mentorship from the Irish Writers Centre. Alexandra’s short story ‘Daisy Chains’ was awarded second place in the 2026 From the Well Short Story Competition and is published in the anthology.
