Originally from Philadelphia, Una Mannion is a writer and teacher based in County Sligo. She has won numerous prizes for her work including the Hennessy New Irish Writing Poetry Award, The Cúirt Short Fiction Award, and Doolin Short Story Prize.. Her work has been published in numerous journals and anthologies including The Art of the Glimpse: 100 Irish Short Stories and her debut novel A Crooked Tree will be published by Faber and Faber in the UK and Ireland and by Harper Collins in the US in January 2021. Her piece in Winter Papers 6 is entitled ‘A False Crawl’.
