Murder Manor Cast

Murder Manor was devised, written and performed by members of Activate Youth Theatre, with support and mentoring from Dave Lordan.  The participants were mentored to create a concept for their piece, device and write a script, record the scenes, edit the recordings, contribute to the sound design and distribute the final product.

My name is Ellie, I’m 18 and I’m from Dripsey, Cork. I play Cynthia’s sister Charlotte in our radio play, Manor Murder. I love our weekly workshops at Activate because I enjoy all aspects of theatre: devising, writing, performing and more. Working on this project over lockdown has been great fun, and a wonderful opportunity!

My name is Sloane Quirke and I live in Fermoy. I play the maid in this show. I’m interested in performing, and I love being able to see something develop from some improv into a full show! It’s great to be able to share my ideas and be able to make something out of them!

I’m Laura Bradfield, I played The Old Lady in Murder Manor. I have been a part of Activate Youth Theatre for three years but this show was different from anything I had worked on before. I enjoy performing, writing and devising theatre and I love to read!

My name is Danny Foley and I play the scorned lover, Salvador, in the audio production Murder Manor. I’m a Cork based artist and illustrator and my fields of interests include art, illustration, design and the performance arts.

My name is Niall Delaney and I live in County Cork. I have an interest in writing which suited my part in the Murder Mystery production. I was the narrator of this piece and had a chance to write some of my own dialogue. The time spent on this project was very enjoyable and interesting with how it was done given the conditions we faced.

My name is Anna O’Connor and I live in Cork. I’m in love with writing and acting and I’ve participated in lots of both with Graffiti. I was a member of the Young Playwrights programme and my work has been published in national newspapers and online journals! I am currently studying English in UCC. I play Cynthia in Murder Manor.

My name is Eoghan Richardson, I am 17 years old, I am a member of Activate Youth Theatre, a gaeilgeoir, a piano player, I’m passionate about climate & social justice and really interested in online activism. I play Bartholomew in Murder Manor.

My name is Joe Murray, I played the Detective Cain in the audio play. My hobbies mainly include listening to music. As I’m fairly new to Graffiti, this was one of the first projects I did with the group and I’m delighted I took part!

My name is Faye Herlihy and I live in Cork. I am interested in performing, writing and devising theatre. I play Maribelle, the Private Investigator in Murder Manor.

My name is Brien Aherne and I live in Cork. I play Detective Archer in Murder Manor. I’ve been a member of Activate Youth Theatre for 3 years now and I love devising theatre, writing and performing.
