Mary Noonan

Mary Noonan was born in London, and was brought up in Cork, where she now works as a lecturer in French literature at University College Cork. Her first collection, The Fado House (Dedalus Press, 2012), was shortlisted for both the Seamus Heaney Prize and the Strong/Shine Award (2013). She was awarded an Arts Council of Ireland Literature Bursary in 2014. Father (Bonnefant Press), a limited edition pamphlet, was published in 2015. Her second collection Stone Girl was published by Dedalus Press in March 2019.
