From the New York Times to Sunday Miscellany, personal essays are endlessly popular, and the good news is that anybody can write one. In this three-hour session, Ellen Brickley will take you from generating ideas, to outlining an essay, to covering the conventions of essay writing and cliches to avoid, and finally discussing publication and funding opportunities in Ireland and abroad. 

Duration: Three hours 

Max: 12 participants 

Suitable for: Any level of writing experience, but new(ish) to essays is suggested
