An Evening with Maggie O’Farrell: Live At St Luke’s Cork city

Join us this June for an evening with bestselling author Maggie O’Farrell, as we celebrate the release of her new novel, Land. For the first time ever, the West Cork Literary Festival will present an event in Cork city, and we'll be welcoming Maggie to the stage of Live At St Luke's for a public interview.

Inspired by the mapping of Ireland in the mid nineteenth century, the new novel from the author of Hamnet is at once intimate and epic: a portrait of a family navigating a legacy of upheaval and survival with resilience and love. Land is a story of buried treasure, overlapping lives, ancient woodland, persistent ghosts and a particularly loyal dog. It’s also a story about place, and how layers of history change landscapes and the people who live in them.

The Book & Ticket bundle includes a stamped author signature Trade Paperback copy of Land exclusive to the Land tour. Books will be available for collection on the evening and our event partners Dubray Books Cork will be on site. A limited number of Event Only tickets are also available.
