Sean Rafferty in conversation with Calidore Quartet

Each weekday morning during the Festival the well-known musical commentator, Sean Rafferty, hosts our Talking Music conversations. In the friendly Brick Oven over pre-Coffee Concert coffee he initiates a series of fascinating discussions about music and music-making. Our first guests are the Calidore Quartet, who have crossed the Pond to play at some European Festivals. This talk will be an opportunity to hear what it takes to become a major international string quartet. The Quartet is also celebrating the recent release of their complete recordings of the Beethoven quartets.
