51. Young Musicians Series - Passeri Ensemble
This Baroque ensemble is Clodagh Sweeney (recorder), Sean Hurley (vn), Lizzie Troup (vc) and Shauna Davies (harpsichord). They have put together a powerful programme with the three Baroque heavyweights - Bach, Telemann, Handel - at the centre bookended by exciting Italians - Vivaldi, Merula, Uccellini. At the very centre stands a piece for solo recorder called 'The Jesters'.
