38. Violin Talk
Jeroen Reuling is a Dutch cellist and Professor of cello at the Queen Elizabeth Chapel in Belgium. He is a well-known teacher and is highly experienced at helping young string players find the right instrument, a difficult process made even more tricky given the cost of good string instruments. The Festival however provides a special situation given the number of instrument makers, who can be consulted, and the instruments that are available to try out. Indeed many of the instruments and bows made by the Bantry luthiers can be heard on the main stages.
