Nick will read from a selection of his poetry and Zadie will discuss her writing, including her most recent publication The Wife of Willesden. This is Zadie’s first time writing for the stage and it is a riotous twenty-first century translation of Geoffrey Chaucer’s classic The Wife of Bath’s Prologue.

[Nick Laird is] ‘an assured and brilliant voice in Irish poetry.’ Colm Tóibín

[Zadie Smith is] ‘a preternaturally gifted writer with a voice that’s street-smart and learned, sassy and philosophical all at the same time.’ The New York Times
