Donnacha Dennehy talks about winning a grammy

Journal of Music in Ireland is keeping up with grammy award winning Irish composer Donnacha Dennehy, talking about his recording ‘The Land of Winter’

Donnacha will adjudicate the 2026 Young Composers Competition and facilitate the Young Composers Forum at this year’s festival. The competition is open for submissions until 25 March.

Donnacha’s works will be performed during this year’s Festival and tickets will be available from 5 March, including the world premiere of a new string quartet performed by Attacca Quartet and Keening performed by Sonoro Quartet and Lotte Betts-Dean.
