Sarah Bowie

Sarah Bowie is an Irish writer and illustrator. She is also an arts educator and runs workshops in schools on comic-making, visual storytelling and doodling for wellbeing. She is co-founder of The Comics Lab and of Ireland’s first Graphic Short Story Prize in partnership with the Irish Times. The first book in the Nina Peanut series was one of the biggest-selling middle grade debuts of 2024 and has been translated into fourteen languages. Nina Peanut: Major Drama Alert, the fourth book in the series, will be published by Scholastic in May 2026.
