Pia Klaembt & Andrew Finnigan

Pia and Andrew craft antiqued concert string instruments, combining traditional artistry with scientific methods such as modal analysis and sound radiation to refine acoustics and varnish techniques — work that has earned international awards. Their instruments are played worldwide by musicians including Anne-Sophie Mutter and Isabelle van Keulen, and are represented in distinguished collections such as the Royal Academy of Music – Calleva Collection and the Dutch Musical Instrument Foundation. They exhibit regularly at international events such as Klanggestalten, Ekho, CLAC, and the West Cork Chamber Music Festival, and support young artists through ConTakt-Junior e.V.
