Belgian violinist Mona Verhas began playing the violin at the age of 4. Mona has achieved notable success in various competitions, including winning the 1st Prize at the ‘International Soloist Competition’ in Cièza. Throughout her career, Mona has had the opportunity to perform as a soloist with orchestras such as ‘Prima La Musica’ in De Munt Brussels, the Brussels Philharmonic, and the Flanders Symphony Orchestra in the Concertgebouw Brugge. She has also collaborated with ensembles like the ‘Brussels Sinfonietta’ in Flagey, the ‘East Flemish Symphonic Orchestra’, the ‘AMAJ Young Symphonic’, the GUSO, and the ‘Ensemble Orchestral de Bruxelles’. Mona’s artistry extends to chamber music, and she has participated in numerous festivals, including the ‘West Cork Chambermusic Festival’, ‘Rheingau Musik Festival’, Young Generation Concerts at BOZAR, Storioni Festival, ‘B-Classic Festival’, Festival ‘Pietrasanta In Concerto’, ‘Brussels Chopin Days’, Festival Crete Senesi, among others.
