Evelien De Vlieger 

Evelien De Vlieger is a Dutch writer and translator – and a proud chicken owner! She creates quirky, contemporary stories, often laced with subtle humour. Her body of work spans nonfiction, picture books, early reader stories and YA novels. Her children’s book Cluck! The Eggstraordinary Story of Chickens is illustrated by Jan Hamstra and translated into English by Michele Hutchison. It was published by Magic Cat Publishing in March 2026.
