Ben Goldscheider has premiered over 50 new works for horn, including concerti by Anna Clyne, Gavin Higgins, Laurence Osborn, Huw Watkins and Brian Elias. In 2025–26, he appears with the London Mozart Players, Manchester Camerata, Magdeburg Philharmonic, and BBC National Orchestra of Wales, among others.
He has performed as a soloist at major venues including the Concertgebouw, Elbphilharmonie, Musikverein, and Wigmore Hall, and with orchestras such as the BBC Symphony, City of Birmingham Symphony (BBC Proms), and Lucerne Symphony.
A passionate chamber musician, Ben has collaborated with Daniel Barenboim, Martha Argerich, and is a member of the Kaleidoscope Chamber Collective. His recordings include Legacy: A Tribute to Dennis Brain and a concerto album with the Philharmonia Orchestra.
Ben is Principal Horn of the West-Eastern Divan Orchestra, teaches at the Royal Conservatory in Antwerp, and was an ECHO Rising Star in 2021/22. He studied in Berlin with Radek Baborák.
