Pat Carty

Pat Carty is a freelance arts journalist specialising in books and music whose work regularly appears in The Irish Times, The Irish Independent, The Irish Examiner, The Sunday Independent, The Sunday Times, The Business Post, Classic Rock Magazine, and Hot Press. He also frequently contributes to several radio shows on RTÉ and Newstalk.

Pat has had over 150 book reviews published in the last few years alone and has interviewed everyone from Elvis Costello to Kevin Barry to Colm Tóibín to The Edge to Neil Jordan, and many more besides. He has previously chaired events at several literary and music festivals across the country.
