Mike Ryan

Mike Ryan is the Artistic Director of Briery Gap Cultural Centre in Macroom; a brand new, state of the art theatre, cinema and live performance venue located in the heart of Mid-Cork. Prior to that, he was Artist Liaison for Cork Midsummer Festival (2018-2024), a script reader for the Abbey Theatre (2020-2022), and a reviewer and features writer for The Thin Air Magazine (2020-present). He was a producer for River Runs Round music and arts festival in Cork City in 2023, and has also worked extensively as an artist, primarily in theatre, as a designer, writer, and director.
