Catherine Ryan Howard

Catherine Ryan Howard is the award-winning author of seven thrillers including The Trap, a no. 1 bestseller and a Sunday Times Thriller of the Year. Her work has been shortlisted for the Crime Writers Association (UK) New Blood and Ian Fleming Daggers, the Mystery Writers of America Edgar Award for Best Novel, and Irish Crime Fiction Book of the Year multiple times. Her lockdown thriller 56 Days was named a best thriller of the year by the New York Times and the Washington Post (who called it ‘as good as suspense fiction gets’), and it won Crime Fiction Book of the Year at the An Post Irish Book Awards. Obsession, a limited series based on 56 Days and produced by Amazon MGM Studios/Atomic Monster, starts filming this summer. Catherine is from Cork and now lives in Dublin.
