Siobhán Doyle

Siobhán Doyle is an Amsterdam-based violinist, who enjoys a varied career of solo, chamber music and orchestral playing. Born in Dublin, she began learning the violin at an early age. As a recipient of a full scholarship to the Royal Northern College of Music, she completed her Bachelor’s degree with Leland Chen before furthering her studies at the HMDK Stuttgart with Nurit Stark.

As a chamber musician, Siobhán has performed as part of the West Cork Chamber Music Festival with Alexei Grynyuk and Mairéad Hickey, and is a founding member of the Lir Quartet with which she regularly tours throughout Ireland. A former member of the European Union Youth Orchetra, in 2020 Siobhán was one of the soloists for Vivaldi’s Concerto for Four Violins with the orchestra in the Concertgebouw. She has toured extensively throughout Europe, Asia and the Americas with the London Symphony Orchestra, and regularly plays with ensembles such as the Irish Chamber Orchestra, Scottish Chamber Orchestra and Rotterdam Philharmonic Orchestra. Siobhán became a member of the Netherlands Chamber Orchestra in 2019.
