Finola Finlay has a BA in History and Archaeology and an MA in Archaeology from UCC. After many years in Canada, working in the higher education sector, she has retired back to Ireland and is enjoying the opportunity to devote herself to all things West Cork. With her husband, Robert Harris, Finola researches and writes about history, archaeology, landscape, flora, stained glass, language, and culture for their blog roaringwaterjournal.com. She has written numerous articles for Historical Journals, The Irish Arts Review and Glass Ireland, and is a contributor to the Gazetteer of Irish Stained Glass.
