Shane Hegarty

Shane Hegarty is the writer of the ‘Darkmouth’ series, about a town
invaded by monsters and the kid who is supposed to save everyone, and
the ‘Boot’ series about a lost toy robot. His next book will be the
funny and fantastic ‘The Shop of Impossible Ice Creams’. His events
are all about ideas – where he finds his and, more importantly, where
young writers can find ideas for their own stories.
