Westland Baroque Ensemble

Westland Baroque was set up by students of the Royal Irish Academy of Music studying on the Bachelor of Music Performance degree. The members participate in the historical Early Music Department of the RIAM initiated in 2016. The ensemble is coached by the teaching staff of the Early Music Dept., Claire Duff, Aoife Nic Athlaoich and David Adams and performs in the RIAM and in local venues both as an ensemble and within larger groups.

Westland Baroque plays on period instruments provided by RIAM assisted by the Irish Baroque Orchestra, and the ensemble is honoured and excited to participate in the West Cork Chamber Music Festival.
