Timothy Ethan Doyle (b.1991) is an Irish composer of chamber, orchestral and electronic music. He studied music at the Newpark Music Centre where he earned a first class honours degree in Jazz Performance. Timothy moved to New York in 2013 where he worked with some of the city’s most exciting performers and improvisers before returning to Ireland and continuing his studies in composition at University College Cork. He currently resides in Lyon, France.

His music has been performed in concert halls around Europe and the US including premieres by some of Ireland’s best contemporary ensembles such as the Crash Ensemble, the Hard Rain Ensemble and the ConTempo Quartet. Timothy was recently the recipient of the Peter Rosser Composition Award and a winner of the Kirkoskammer International Composition Competition.
