Fiona Boniwell

Fiona Boniwell

Fiona is a graphic artist based in Kinsale, Ireland. Her background is in Fine Art but her work has always had a strong graphic quality. This coupled with a love of film, graffiti, comics and pop culture made the transition to graphic art a natural progression.

Fiona’s sense of aesthetic is strongly influenced by black and white movies, particularly film noir.

She divides her studio time between illustration and murals and works in a variety of media: hand-drawn and digital, micro to macro.

Fiona Boniwell is an experienced art workshop facilitator offering a portfolio of workshops for all ages.

When not drawing, Fiona can be found singing badly and watching action films. Fiona also studies Kuk Sool Won, a Korean traditional martial art and has attained her First Dahn Black Belt.
