The Fish Anthology is a selection of short stories, short memoirs, flash fiction and poems, which are the winners from the four Fish Publishing writing competitions. The writers come from many countries around the world and we are delighted to have gathered them together in this book.

The short story prize was judged by Emily Ruskovich, the short memoir prize by Blake Morrison, the flash prize by Kathy Fish and Billy Collins judged the poetry prize, and an enormous thanks to them for their interest in this endeavor to support and promote emerging writers.

Each of the writers in the Anthology has been allocated 4 minutes to read, so poems and Flash Fiction stories will be read in their entirety, and the short stories and short memoirs, which have a word limit of 5,000 and 4,000 respectively, will comprise of just over a page.
