Irish composers nominated for 2026 Emmys
Two prominent Irish composers have been nominated for the 2026 Emmys – Dennehy’s chamber work ‘Land of Winter’ and O’Halloran’s double opera ‘Trade’/’Mary Motorhead’
West Cork Music would like to congratulate both composers. Emma and Donnacha have both had their works performed at the West Cork Chamber Music Festival. Donnacha will be leading the Young Composers Forum at the 2026 Festival and a new commission from the Festival will receive its World Premiere.
