What’s On

What's on in Bantry

West Cork Music stages concerts, festivals, readings, and events in Bantry throughout the year.

Our three world-class festivals take place each summer: the Chamber Music Festival, the Literary Festival and Masters of Tradition. Aiteall, our singer-songwriter weekend, is on over the October Bank Holiday weekend. And our concerts and gigs take place regularly in venues around Bantry. Keep an eye out for what’s on!

Aiteall Singer-Songwriter Festival

Aiteall – our West Cork Music Singer-Songwriter Festival – is celebrating contemporary Irish singer-songwriters in Bantry over the October bank holiday weekend. Some root their craft in sean-nós and traditional song, while others weave in folk, jazz, electronica, and ambient sounds to take those traditions in new directions.

Spend your days at intimate workshops, pop-up performances, and even a record fair. Check out concerts in the atmospheric settings of St. Brendan’s Church and Marino Church. Then discover gigs and sessions that take you late into the evening. Join us to explore where Irish singer-songwriting is, and where it’s going!

Book single events or order Aiteall day tickets.
