Jeremie Legrand

Instruments: Makers | Violin Makers

Jeremie Legrand began studying violin making at the National School of Mirecourt, France, at the age of 15.

He worked as a self-employed violin maker in Cork, Ireland, from 1995 to 2013, and has since also been based in northern France.

He dedicates himself to crafting modern concert violins, violas, and cellos . He is a passionate violinist and still many fine violinists and cellists play a Legrand instrument in Ireland, the UK, and France, as well as in major orchestras such as the Berlin Philharmonic and the Vanbrugh Quartet. After spending some years in Landerneau, Brittany, France, Jeremie has returned to Cork, Ireland, where he is busier than ever fulfilling orders for his growing waiting  list .
