Boris Fritsch

Boris Fritsch established his own workshop in Paris in 2004. He is creating bows on single projects with musicians. Boris enjoy the diversity found in the double bass field and gained some particular recognition making some bass bows. Boris Fritsch was born in Strasbourg in 1972. He was graduated from the Mirecourt violin making school, but also as a double bass player, studying with Thierry Barbé in Paris. He learned bow making under the apprenticeship of Jean François Raffin.

2014 Violoncelle en Seine : coup de coeur

2016 1st international Darling bow making competition,  Amsterdam Grand Prix for a viola bow

2022 Un des Meilleurs ouvriers de france, lauréat de la 27 ème promotion.
