Mahito Indi Henderson is a Canadian American writer and actor based in Dublin. He is a graduate of University College Cork’s MA in Creative Writing, where he was a Puttnam Scholar and a recipient of the Government of Ireland International Education Scholarships (GOI-IES). His work has been published in The Moth, The Echo and the Foundationalist, among others. He is a recipient of an Arts Council Agility Award and was a finalist for the Iowa Review Awards 2021. In 2022, he was awarded the inaugural Lacuna Bursary through the Irish Writers Centre and the Tyrone Guthrie Centre and he is featured in Breaking Ground Ireland. Mahito is currently the Publishing Officer at Skein Press, a publishing house that champions marginalised and underrepresented communities across Ireland. Mahito’s work features in issue #05 of Holy Show (summer 2023).
