The Lanuaria Quartet is an exciting new ensemble that formed in 2023. Helen Rutledge studies violin with Simon Blendis at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama, London. An avid chamber musician and has taken part in WCCMF masterclass programme in 2019, 2021 and 2022. Helen plays a Andreas Postaccini violin on loan from MIFI. Aisling Martin is a violin student of Katherine Hunka’s at the MTU Cork School of Music. She is a member of both the National Youth Orchestra of Ireland and the Cork School of Music Symphony Orchestra and this coming July, Aisling will tour Italy with the Cork Youth Orchestra as a co-leader. Conor Galvin is an 18 year old violist from Cork. He was invited to Concertgebouworkest Young and to the European Youth Orchestra Academy as principal violist in the summer of 2022. He is a founding member of the Mahler Student Festival Orchestra, based in Belgium, and looks forward to being co principal violist in their next project in November 2023. Anna Varga is a cellist in the Royal Irish Academy of Music. She recorded the 1st movement of the Saint-Saens Cello Concerto with the DYO Symphony Orchestra in 2022.
