Sinead Slattery

Sinead Slattery is originally from Belfast but now lives in Cork. Since retiring from teaching, she has travelled extensively, especially in Africa. She was runner-up in The Michael Mc Laverty Short Story competition in2016. She came second in the Kanturk Flash Fiction competition in 2017. She has been long-listed twice in the Colm Toibin Short Story competition and twice in the RTE/Penguin Short story competition. She had a stories included in the From the Well Anthology in 2018 and 2020. Sinead was highly commended in the Cork County Council Library and Arts Services’ From The Well short story prize and her winning story is published in the From The Well anthology.
