Oonagh Montague

Genres: Cork | Interviewer | Irish Writing

Oonagh Montague is a writer whose fiction has been published in Winter Papers. A former editor of Arts Ireland she worked as a journalist for the Sunday Independent and the Irish Examiner. Now solo parenting while lecturing in journalism and training corporate clients in technical writing skills, Oonagh likes to read and write in the quiet moments. Those don’t exist, so Oonagh writes on the back of her hand while doing the food shop and reads when she should be asleep. She joined the board of Cork-based Fiction at the Friary in 2022.
