Sarah Byrne was born in Co. Cork and worked as a criminologist for nine years. She has been the Chief Editor of the literary journal, The Well Review since its establishment in 2016. Her work has been published in The Irish Times, The New Statesman, The Irish Examiner, Poetry Ireland Review and elsewhere. She is the recipient of awards for her writing from the Cork City Council, the Cork County Council, and the Arts Council of Ireland. She currently lives in Paris and is working on her first short story collection called Little Kinder.
