Robert Caskie grew up in Dublin and after 3 years studying Dentistry he switched to read Modern English and Theatre Studies.  After graduating he lived in New York for 2.5 years working in film PR and then at a talent agency. Moving to London in 1991 he worked as an agent for Theatre Directors and Designers for 4 years and then began his career an agent for Writers and journalists.  He was a senior agent and COO at PFD for 8 years, one the largest UK literary agencies, before forming his own agency with Juliet Mushens in January 2017.  In April 2021 he set up on his own.  He represents many Top 10 Bestsellers authors including Sarah Winman, Libby Page, Louis Theroux,  Sir Trevor MacDonald, Kate Spicer, Lorraine Candy  and Clover Stroud.  Other prominent and eminent writers on his list include Emma Barnett, Michael Cashman, Winnie Li and Ece Temlkuran.  His two main focuses are reading group/crossover fiction and narrative, nature and political/social non-fiction.  Visit his website www.robertcaskie.com for more information.
