Florian Bailly

Instruments: Bow Makers | Makers

Florian started instrument making at Newark Violin Making School, UK.  He then moves to Ireland to study Bow Making with Noel Burke. Back in the UK, he worked in London as a restorer and started a collaboration with the Violin Maker Antoni Ruschil, developing comprehensive restoration and care in Central London, providing services for students of the different academies of music and orchestra players. In July 2017 started to work for Stringers in London and Edinburgh. Since spring 2018, Florian has settled in Kent and share is time between the seaside and London. Florian’s inspiration for playing qualities and esthetic is from the early 20th Century Parisian makers.
