Jérémie Legrand

Instruments: Makers | Violin Makers

Jérémie Legrand began studying violin making in Mirecourt aged 15. He had been a master violin maker in Cork (Ireland) from 1995 to 2013 and is now set up in northen France, specialising in the making of fine modern instruments in the classical Italian tradition. He ’s now set up in Paris too, on a part time basis, heading a new association of 10 bow and violin makers, the C.L.A.C..

His instruments are played in leading orchestras all around the world. He is also a keen violonist and still performs.
