We’re Recruiting – Festival Volunteering

We're Recruiting

West Cork Music and Volunteers

Volunteers form an essential cornerstone of the West Cork Music Festivals. The high quality performances and events at each festival are possible only with the active participation of dedicated volunteers in a variety of essential roles.

Description

The volunteers at West Cork Music festivals perform a variety of tasks from stage and venue management, overseeing rehearsals and masterclasses, ushering and box office, to taking surveys. Volunteers get the opportunity to be part of a festival that attracts artists and audiences from around the world, gain valuable work experience and witness some truly high quality music and literature from some of the world’s best musicians and writers. Volunteers are at the heart of the action. It can be fast-paced and hectic. Some events happen at night and the days can be long and tiring, so volunteers should come with plenty of energy and enthusiasm. Volunteers are welcome to attend all concerts and events that do not interfere with other duties, where there are seats available.

Recruitment

West Cork Music is an equal opportunities organisation.

Accommodation

West Cork Music offer accommodation and meals to volunteers for the duration of the festival at which they are volunteering.
