West Cork Music Returns to Bantry House
In collaboration with the Ortús Festival, three outstanding young musicians from Ireland, Germany and Spain will perform in Bantry on this special occasion – Mairéad Hickey, Sara Ferrández and Alexander Kovalev. Playing an exciting programme including Hindemith’s Sonata for solo cello, a new composition by Irish composer Sebastian Adams ‘2021.3 for Mairéad’ and Mozart’s Divertimento in E flat K.563 which is one of music’s best-kept secrets, a composition of pure magic and unique beauty, the concert promises to be a delightful return to music at Bantry House.
In the interest of audience, artist and staff safety, pre-booking and vaccination certificates are required for this event. There will not be a box office at the venue.
West Cork Music is returning to Bantry House! To celebrate the return of live concerts and the expectation of a live festival this summer, West Cork Music will host its first live music concert in Bantry House since the summer of 2019, and the first out-of-season concert there since 2013, on Sunday 27 February at 8pm.
