19. Main Evening Concert

During the dark days of winter 2020, both Finola Merivale and Mairéad Hickey were based in Paris and the Festival seized the moment to commission this pandemic memorial with a filmed performance in the Library at the Centre Culturel Irlandais. Hickey and van Poucke studied together at Kronberg and their close friendship can be seen on stage. Nathalia Milstein joins them for exciting performances of two core works by the leaders of Romanticism, who were also close colleagues and friends, meeting for performances of each other’s chamber works.
