Meliora Quartet with Calidore Quartet

This class will focus on Mendelssohn Quartet No.1 in E flat Op.12

A West Cork Music masterclass is a high-level tutoring session for selected high level students, which is open to the public. Come and watch the students perform a piece, or a large section of a piece, and then receive advice from the tutors on a range of subjects from technique to interpretation. The audience have the chance to see learning in action and discover how performers think on stage. You will also get to listen in on the conversations that ensembles need to have when practising to bring a work from the page to the stage.
